Hammett m~e motion to amend the Community Relations Commission <br /> <br />Ordinace to increase the number of members to fifteen (15). James <br /> <br />seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Hammett made motion that the County participate in ~he increased <br /> <br />size of the outfall lines and sewage disposal treatment plant as <br />presented in letter of April .6, 19.72 from the Board of Light and <br />Water Commissioners of the City of Concord and by Troy Doby, Don <br />Howell and Alfred Brown to the extent of 207° of the 'local share. <br />James seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Motion by Ha~m-~ett, seconded by James, to authori~.e Peirson and <br /> <br />Whitman, Engineers to present a comprehensive sewer study of Cabarrus <br /> <br />County at no cost to the County. Vote C~rried. <br /> <br /> John Sharpe Hartsell presented the two earliest minute books which <br /> <br />the Department of Archives had preserved. <br /> <br /> James made motion to accept the audit of County funds as presented <br /> <br />by Daniel and Daniel. McClary seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Motion by Hammett, seconded by James for permission to advertise <br /> <br />for bids for tires, gas and fuel oil. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> McClary made,motion that the residue from fiscal year 1971/72 <br /> <br />for County Buildings and the appropriation for the fiscal year 1972/73 <br />be transferred to a reserve account.
