Light and Water Commissioners, which presently is $90.00 for a 4 inch tap, but would not <br />pay the line footage charge, which is 1/4 of the cost of an 8 inch sewer line, based <br />upon the actual line footage basis. Commissioner Hammett seconded the motion and vote <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> Jack Alston, County Planner, reported that Jackson Training School had 18 streets <br />which would require 25 signs. They cost $25.00 per sign or $625.00 for all the signs. <br />Commissioner Hammett made a motion that Jack Alston contact the Jackson Training School <br />Director and tell him that we will be happy to put up the signs if we will be reimbursed. <br />Motion seconded by Commissioner Hinson and vote carried. <br /> <br /> The Board discussed a lease agreement with Cannon Mills Company for approximately <br />12 acres of land in No. 4 Township for five (5) years for recreational activities. <br />Commissioner Hinson mdde a motion to authorize Chairman Hawfield to sign lease agreement <br />with Cannon Mills Company. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hammett and vote carried. <br /> <br /> The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Hammett, seconded by <br />Commissioner Milloway, remd in full, considered and adopted: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, ADOPTING, APPROVING, ACCEPTING AND RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF <br />GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. A-37-0015-01 BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND <br />THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina: <br />Section 1. That said Board of Commissioners hereby authorized, adopts, approves, <br />accepts and ratifies the execution of Grant Agreement between the Federal Aviation <br />Administration on behalf of the United States of American and Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the execution of said Grant Agreement in quadruplicate on <br /> <br />behalf of said Cabarrus County, North Carolina by S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr., Chairman <br />of the Board and the impression of the official seal of the County of Cabarrus and <br />the attestation of said execution by Patsy Moser, Clerk to the Board is hereby <br />authorized, adopted, approved, accepted and ratified. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to execute payment <br />requests under this Grant Agreement on behalf of said County of Cabarrus. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the Grant Agreement referred to hereinabove shall be attached <br />hereto and made a part of this Resolution as though it were fully copied herein. <br /> <br /> Cor~nissioner Hammett made motion to re-appoint Reverend Koehneke and to appoint <br />Commissioner Milloway to the Council for the Nutrition Program. Motion seconded by <br />Commissioner Hinson and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Hammett, Commissioner Milloway was appointed to a <br /> <br />three year term beginning July 1, 1975 to the Social Services Board. Commissioner Hinson <br />seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hinson made motion granting permission to survey and advertise for <br />bids for a storm sewer on Cabarrus Memorial Hospital property as required in the lease <br /> <br /> <br />
