To provide for the handling of taxes <br /> <br /> SPECIAL TAX FUND <br /> <br /> Revenues <br /> <br /> Taxes - Current Year $ 5,223,674 <br /> Taxes - Prior Year $ 140,000 <br /> <br /> $ 5,363,674 <br /> <br /> Expenditures <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County General Fund $ 5,363,674 <br /> <br />3. Copies of this budget amendment shall be delivered to the Finance Office and the Budget Officer <br /> for their direction in the disbursement of funds. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 8th day of August , 1976 <br /> <br />Chairman Hawfield made motion to adopt the following resolution. Motion seconded by <br />Commissioner Milloway and vote carried. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners would designate the Concord Public <br />Housing Authority to serve as a Public Housing Agency for Cabarrus County, as defined by the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development under Title 24 Chapter VIII, in the event the Agency <br />is selected as Prime Contract Operator by the HUD Regional Office. <br /> <br /> If selected, this designation would enable the Concord Public Housing Authority to operate <br /> <br />a HUD funded Existing Rental Housing Assistance Program for eligible low-income families for the <br /> <br />term of the contract. <br /> <br /> After a discussion of possible effects, Commissioner Hammett made a motion that the last <br />resolution adopted be withdrawn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Milloway and vote unanimously carr- <br />ied. <br /> <br /> Albert Klimas, Health Director, requested that some changes be made in their budget and that <br /> <br />he be allowed to advertise for bids for an automatic film processor and storage cabinet. Commissionez <br />Hammett made motion to amend the budget by including the following items with revenue to come from <br />fund balance and to allow for the advertisement of bids for an automatic film processor and storage <br />cabinet. Motion seconded by Commissioner McClary and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Miscellaneous Expense - Utility Building $ 2,000.00 <br /> Sanitary Landfill Soil Stabilization 2,400.00 <br /> Special Project Grants Amendment Increase 28,582.00 <br /> New Health Center Overruns 19,300.00 <br /> Mobile Dental Unit 12,500.00 <br /> Film Processor 7,000.00 <br /> X-Ray Moving 4,000.00 <br /> Storage Bin 100.00 <br /> Office Moving Cost 1,000.00 <br /> <br /> $ 76,882.00 <br /> <br /> Cleveland Huntley with the Concord City Planning Department discussed the resolution concerning <br />housing. Attorney Boger proposed that the resolution be amended to specify that this appointment <br />was only for this one application. Commissioner Hammett made motion to adopt the resolution as <br />amended.
