102 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County <br />of Cabarrus North Carolina that the following amendment be made to <br />the budget ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978: <br />To provide for the purchase of a keypunch machine <br />GENERAL FUND <br /> <br />Increase data processing <br /> <br />10-445-74 Capital Outlay $2,300.00 <br /> <br />Decrease public buildings <br />10-500-16 Maintenance & Repairs <br /> <br />$2,300.'00 <br /> <br /> Copies of this budget amendment shall be delivered to the <br /> <br />Finance Officer and the Budget Officer for their dir'ection in the <br />disbursement of funds. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hammett explained that Concord revised their <br /> <br />boards and the Concord Planning and Zoning Board and the Concord <br />ZOning Board of Adjustment were abolished and the Concord Planning <br />and Zoning Commission established. This commission will have <br />seven members, along with three alternates with the county <br />appointing two members and one alternate. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br />Milloway and carried, the following people were appointed to the <br />Concord Planning and Zoning Commission: Jane Faust term expiring <br />8-1-80, Mary S. Boger term expiring 8-1-79 and alternate J. R. <br />Wensil term expiring 8-1-79. <br /> <br /> A letter from the North Carolina Association of County <br /> Commissioners asking if the county would like to participate in <br /> computer software acquisition for property appraisal was discussed. <br /> The cost to the county would be a maximum of $3,500. The County <br /> Manager recommended that at this time the county not participate. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner <br /> <br /> McClary and unanimously carried, the matter was tabled. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br /> <br /> Cook and carried, the road petition requesting addition of Arlee <br /> <br /> Circle was approved. <br /> <br /> The County Manager reported that the bid for the tower had <br /> been readvertised and that the pad was going to be much larger than <br /> <br /> <br />
