208 <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br /> Chairman, Board of Commissioners <br />PARTY OF THE FIRST PART <br /> <br /> HARRISBURG RESCUE SQUAD, INC. <br /> BY: <br /> <br /> PARTY OF THE SECOND PART <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner McClary, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Hammett and unanimously carried, Chairman <br />Hawfield was authorized to sign the following contract: <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CABARRU S COUNTY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 21st day <br /> <br />of August, 1978, by and between CABARRUS COUNTY, party of <br />the first part, and CABARRUS WORKSHOP, INC., a non-profit <br />corporation, party of the second part; <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H : <br /> <br /> That whereas, Cabarrus Workshop, Inc., is a non-profit <br /> corporation which provides services to handicapped citizens <br /> of Cabarrus County in conjunction with the Piedmont Area <br /> Mental Health Center and other governmental agencies; and <br /> whereas, Cabarrus County has appropriated the sum of Four <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) for use by the <br /> Cabarrus Workshop, Inc., to provide these services for the <br /> eligible residents of Cabarrus County; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and <br /> agreements herein made, the parties do agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That Cabarrus Workshop, Inc,, will provide services <br /> to certain handicapped citizens of Cabarrus County who are <br /> deemed to be eligible for said services by the Piedmont <br /> Area Mental Health Center. <br /> <br /> 2. Cabarrus County will pay directly to the Cab- <br /> arrus Workshop, Inc., the sum of Four Thousand Five Hun- <br /> dred Dollars ($4,500.00) for the fiscal year 1978-1979, <br /> payable in equal monthly installments. <br /> <br /> <br />
