The Secretary shall mail to all members <br />copies of official reports and the official minutes of all regular and <br />special meetings, prior to the next scheduled meeting. <br />SECTION 10: COMMITTEES <br /> %he Executive Committee shall consist of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, <br />Secretary (Director), and the representative from the governing body of the <br />unit. <br /> The Committee Chairman is authorized to appoint such committees as, <br />in the opinion of the Committee, are needed. Standing Committee suggestions <br />are (1) program and activities; (2) areas and structures; (3) budget; (4) <br />personnel; (5) policies and procedures. Temporary and project committees <br />shall be appointed as needed. <br />SECTION 11: BY-LAWS <br /> Operational policies and procedures may be incorporated into a set of <br />By-Laws as developed and approved by the Committee in line with this ordin- <br />ance and the policies of the unit. <br />SECTION 12: <br /> This Resolution supercedes and replaces previous resolutions and ordin- <br />ances creating the Cabarrus County Recreation Commission. <br />Adopted this 9th day of November 1978. <br />ATTEST: CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD <br /> OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Clerk Chairman <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner McClary <br />and unanimously carried, the Board passed the following resolution: "begin- <br />ning in the month of December the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />will be held on the first Monday in the month beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the <br />Commissioners' Meeting Room in the Cabarrus County Courthouse in Concord, <br />North Carolina." <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner McClary, seconded by Commissioner Cook <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following road abandonments - <br />207' portion of SR 1641 Tucker Avenue and 205' portion of Old NC 73." <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner McClary <br />and unanimously carried, the following road petition was approved - Request <br />for addition - Mary Circle. <br /> The Board of Commissioners received from the County Board of Elections <br />of Cabarrus County a certified copy of the proceedings of said Board of <br />Elections taken on November 9, 1978, evidencing said Board's determination <br />of the results of the canvass of the returns of the special bond referen- <br />dum held in the County of Cabarrus on November 7, 1978, upon the questions <br />of approving $9,800,000 Sanitary Sewer Bonds, $8,000,000 School Bonds and <br />$900,000 Water Bonds of said County. <br /> After said proceedings had been considered and reviewed by the Board <br />of Commissioners, Commissioner McClary introduced and following resolution <br />which was read: <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF <br /> THE SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM HELD IN <br /> THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS ON NOVEMBER 7, <br /> 1978 UPON THE QUESTIONS OF APPROVING <br /> $18,700,00 BONDS <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br />Section 1. The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, having <br />received from the County Board of Elections of Cabarrus County a certified <br />copy of the proceedings of said Board of Elections taken on November 9, 1978, <br />evidencing said Board's determination of the results of the canvass of the <br />returns of the special bond referendum held in the County of Cabarrus on <br />November 7, 1978 upon the questions of approving $9,800,000 Sanitary Sewer <br />Bonds, $8,000,000 School Bonds and $900,000 Water Bonds of said County, does <br />hereby declare and certify the results of said referendum to be the results <br />which are set forth in the following statement of the results of said refer- <br />endum, which statement has been prepared by said Board of Commissioners: <br /> <br /> <br />
