293 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of CommisSioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Allen and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to budget $4,250 in State Grant Funds <br />for use by the Tax Supervisor's Department for the purchase of equipment as <br />specified under the Land Records Grant award. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to consider <br />purchasing property for the County sanitary landfill. <br /> Chairman Cook stated that in Executive Session the Commissioners had agreed <br />to negotiate to try to purchase land for the County sanitary landfill. Chairman <br />Cook appointed himself, Mr. Charles D. McGinnis, and Mr, John R. Boger, Jr,, <br />to negotiate with the landowners for the purchase of the proposed property. <br /> Mr. Mike Huns~ck, Cabarrus County CETA Administrator, was present to discuss <br />his proposed reassignment of CETA employees as necessitated by the cutback in <br />Federal funding for this program.
