577 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Co~nissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of August, 1981, the Cabarrus County Board <br />of Commissioners adopted a resolution giving notice of intention to assist <br />in the financing of improvements to rural subdivision and residential streets <br />on the following road(s): <br /> <br />SR# 1856 - Hardwood Lane (Paving the roads in Spring Valley MPH) <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the required seventy-five percent (75%) of the affected <br />property owners do request to have the road paved under the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation Participating Paving Plan and have submitted <br />a cashiers check made payable to North Carolina Department of Transportation, <br />the listed property owners are to be assessed as follows: <br /> <br />MAP # PARCEL # PROPERTY OWNER(S) FOOTAGE AMOUNT DUE <br /> <br />101 A 17 Randy M. C. 28212 <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS: ~ <br /> <br /> 1) That the property owners' share of the improvements is hereby <br />determined to be the amount shown therefore on said general plan map. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Board of County Commissioners finds as a fact that each <br />lot or tract abutting on the improvements has been specially benefited by <br />the improvements in the amount assessed against such lot or tract as shown <br />by the preliminary assessment roll. <br /> <br /> 3) That the general map is hereby confirmed at 10:10 A.M. on the 3rd <br />day of.August, 1981, and is hereby made the final assessment roll for the <br />improvements. <br /> <br /> 4) That the Clerk to the ~Board is hereby directed to enter on <br />the minutes of this Board and the assessment roll the date, hour, and <br />minute of the confirmation thereof and to deliver a copy of the assessment <br />roll to the County Tax Collector. <br /> <br /> 5) That after the expiration of twenty (20) days from this date the <br />County Tax Collector shall cause to be published one time in some newspaper <br />published in the County a notice that any assessments contained in the <br />assessment roll may be paid in full to the County Tax'Collector without <br />interest thereon at any time ~before the expiration of thirty (30) days. <br /> <br /> <br />
