600 <br /> <br /> 4. Ethel A. Honeycutt shall allow the Animal Warden of Cabarrus <br />County to enter the premises known as 613 Fairview Street to make a <br />reasonable inspection to verify the number and type of dogs kept by <br />her. Such inspection shall be made upon the execution of this agree- <br />ment and periodically thereafter as the Board shall direct but not <br />more frequently than once every three (3) months. <br /> 5. Within six (6) months of the date of execution of this agree- <br />ment by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, Ethel A. <br />Honeycutt shall have'dog referred to as "Rusty" enrolled in an obedience <br />training course or dispose of him. Pending the completion of the <br />obedience training or disposition of the dog Ethel A. Honeycutt shall <br />keep the dog on a chain or leashed or penned at all times. In the event <br />the dog referred to as "Rusty" escapes from such restraint, Ethel A. <br />Honeycutt shall assist the Animal Warden of Cabarrus County in capturing <br />the dog and the Animal Warden shall thereafter hold the dog and not <br />dispose of it pending a ruling by a Court of competent jurisdiction. <br /> 6. Ethel A. Honeycutt will allow representatives of the Cabarrus <br />County Department of Social Services and Health Department to visit her <br />at her residence at reasonable times and intervals to render such assis- <br />tance as they can to Ethel A. Honeycutt's efforts to maintain and improve <br />her living conditions. <br /> 7. Cabarrus County shall file a dismissal without prejudice of its <br />Complaint in the action pending before the District Court of Cabarrus <br />County bearing file number 81 CVD 1092, six (6) months from the date it <br />executes this agreement, provided that the Animal Warden of Cabarrus <br />County reports no violation of this agreement by Ethel A. Honeycutt. <br />Cabarrus County shall file no motion for entry of default by the defen- <br />dant, Ethel A. Honeycutt for failure to file an Answer in said action <br />and in the event it decides to proceed in said action either for breach <br />of this agreement or other cause, Cabarrus County shall provide Ethel A. <br />Honeycutt and her counsel ten (10) days notice of any hearing in this <br />matter and shall not maks any motion for entry of default by the defen- <br />dant Ethel A. Honeycutt for thirty (30) days following written notice <br />to Ethel A. Honeycutt and her counsel of its intention to proceed. <br /> <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Ethel A. Honeycutt has set her hand and seal <br />the day and year first above written, and the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners has caused this instrument to be signed by its Chairman, <br />attested by its Clerk. <br /> <br />/s/ Ethel A. Bonds <br /> Chairman <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Bonds, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Jail Health Plan. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY JAIL HEALTH PROGRAM PLAN <br /> REVISED SEPTEMBER 24, 1981 <br /> <br />GOAL: <br /> <br />To maintain the health and well-being of prisoners incar- <br />cerated in the Cabarrus County Jail. <br /> <br />OBJECTIVES: <br /> <br />1. Protect the health and welfare of the prisoners and to <br /> avoid the spread of contagious disease. <br />2. Provide for medical supervision of prisoners and emer- <br /> gency medical care for prisoners to the extent necessary <br /> for their health and welfare; <br />3. Provide for the detection, examination and treatment of <br /> prisoners who are infected with tuberculosis or veneral <br /> diseases. <br /> <br /> <br />
