He requested that the entire tract be zoned <br />as either commercial or residential. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board accepted the proposed changes as presented <br />in Amendments 5 and 6 with the exception of the Maps/Parcel Identification <br />Numbers 5634-50-0561, 5634-50-2659, and 5634-60-5242 and the Map Inset 07/ <br />Parcel Identification Numbers 5633-69-7796, 5633 -69-6715, and 5633-69-4795. <br /> <br />ZONING TEXT AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />(1) The Zoning Department recommend the following amendments concerning <br /> subdivision development in A-I zones: <br /> <br />(a) Change the word "discouraging" to "disallowing" in the intent <br /> statement. (page 6) <br /> <br />(b) At the bottom of page 20, the asterisk, amend as follows: <br /> *reference page 6 and Subsection 4.11. <br /> <br />(c) Add the following exemption to Section 4: Zoning District <br /> Exemptions and Modifications. <br /> <br />4.11 Subdivision Exemption in the A-I zone: where subdivisions <br />do not require the dedication of a new street or a change in an <br />existing street, the construction of a new single-family <br />detached dwelling shall be permitted. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Nash and seconded by Commissioner <br />Lentz with Commissioners Nash and Lentz voting for and Chairman Bonds and <br />Commissioner Cook voting against to adopt the zoning text amendment as <br />stated. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Lentz and seconded by Commissioner <br />Nash with Commissioners Lentz and Nash voting for and Chairman Bonds and <br />Commissioner Cook voting against to table the proposed amendment until the <br />next public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
