113 <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />20. <br /> <br />21. <br /> <br />22. <br /> <br />Unless otherwise posted, no person shall operate a motor vehicle <br />in excess of 20 miles per hour within the Park. <br /> <br />No person shall operate a motorized trail bike or any other <br />vehicle designed primarily for off road use within the confines <br />of the Park. <br /> <br />No person shall operate motorized boats on any lake or stream in <br />the Park~ except for authorized park personnel or its agents. <br /> <br />No person shall launch a boat from a trailer, car, truck or any <br />other conveyance except at a launch area designated by park <br />management. <br /> <br />Boating shall not be permitted unless each patron is wearing a <br />U.S. Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device. <br /> <br />No person, required by law to have a North Carolina fishing <br />license in order to fish, shallfish within the Park without <br />such a license. Ail patrons must abide by state regulations on <br />seasons, hours and fishing/baiting methods except as otherwise <br />designated in park regulations. <br /> <br />Ail largemouth bass - smaller than 14" - caught by park patrons <br />must be released unharmed back into the park lake. <br /> <br />Ail iargemouth bass, as provided for in Article 9, in excess of <br />three per visitor day must be released unharmed back into the <br />park lake. <br /> <br />No person shall discharge or use fireworks of any kind or nature in <br />the Park, except for authorized park agents. <br /> <br />No person shall willfully trap, molest, capture, harm, or chase any <br />wildlife in the Park except as undert, aken by authorized park <br />personnel or its agents as bona fide wildlife management practice. <br /> <br />No person shall damage or' alter any wildlife habitat or area <br />within the park except as undertaken by authorized park personnel <br />or its agents as bona fide wildlife management practice. <br /> <br />No person shall dispose of lighted or unlighted matches, cigars, <br />cigarettes, or any other flammable material or substance in <br />other than trash receptacles or ash cans. <br /> <br />Patrons using trails shall not take shortcuts between trails and <br />switchbacks. <br /> <br />No person shall smoke on walking trails. <br /> <br />No dogs,, cats or other pets are allowed in the Park except when <br />such animal is part of a park program. This provision does not <br />apply to Seeing Eye and similar dogs. <br /> <br />No person shall build a fire anywhere within the Park other than in <br />grills or fireplaces within established picnic and camping areas. <br /> <br />No person shall leave a fire unattended for any length of time <br />unless it is completely extinguished. <br /> <br />No person shall camp, park a car, trailer, or camper for the <br />purpose of camping in areas other than those designated by <br />park management. <br /> <br />No person shall swim or wade in the park lake except when permitted <br />as special program or by posted regulation. <br /> <br />No person shall throw rocks or objects of any kind. This does <br />not include balls or games used in athletic events, when used <br />in a reasonable manner and in such a way that it does not become <br />a hazard to other park patrons. <br /> <br /> <br />
