He stated that in order to begin operation the corporation <br />was asking each county in the eight-county region to appropriate $3,000.00 <br />for the administrative costs for the first year of operation as well as <br />asking all banking institutions in the county to donate funds for this <br />purpose. Any funds received from the banking institutions in this county <br />would'be deducted from the $3,000.00 appropriation requested from Cabarrus <br />County.
