174 <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Take the necessary measures to establish and maintain an effective <br />communications training program for all persons and agencies <br />involved in the operation of equipment and system. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County and the Council have executed this agreement <br />in duplicate originals, one of which is retained by each of the parties, <br />as of the day and year first above written. <br /> <br />CENTRALINA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br />BY <br /> <br /> Chairman <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BY <br /> <br />County Manager <br /> <br />Executive Director <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Legal Counsel, Centralina COG County Attorney <br />Provision for the payment of moneys to fall due under this agreement within <br />the current fiscal year has been made by appropriation duly authorized, as <br />required by the Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act. <br /> <br /> Finance Officer, Centralina <br /> Council of Governments <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Comanissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board deferred action'on the matter of health <br />insurance for retired County employees until the next meeting on <br />September 20, 1982. <br /> Commissioner Cook, member of the Board of Directors of the Centralina <br />Development Corporation, Inc., reported that the organization had received <br />its charter and was ready to start making Small Business Administration <br />(SBA) loans. He stated that in order to begin operation the corporation <br />was asking each county in the eight-county region to appropriate $3,000.00 <br />for the administrative costs for the first year of operation as well as <br />asking all banking institutions in the county to donate funds for this <br />purpose. Any funds received from the banking institutions in this county <br />would'be deducted from the $3,000.00 appropriation requested from Cabarrus <br />County. Confiscated property as well as other <br />unclaimed property in the possession of the Sheriff's Department will <br />also be offered for sale on this date. <br /> <br /> <br />
