287 <br /> <br /> (c) A copy of the notice of hearing and resolution were <br />prominently posted along the segment of the road to be closed, <br />to-wit: one being posted at the end adjacent to Coventry Road <br />and the other being posted at the end adjacent to Azalea Avenue. <br /> <br /> (d) A copy of the notice of public hearing was posted at the <br />Courthouse door in Concord, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> 5. That the petitioners are the only parties who own property <br />immediately adjacent to the segment of the roadway sought to be closed. <br /> <br /> 6. That the segment of roadway sought to be closed has never been <br />opened and has never been used as a public street or roadway and has not <br />been accepted by the North Carolina Department of Transportation as a <br />part of its roadway system. <br /> <br /> 7. That the Board is satisfied that the closing of the easement <br />for the unopened segment of Coventry Road as described above is not con- <br />trary to public interest and that no individual owning property in the <br />vicinity of the roadway or in the subdivision in which it is located would <br />thereby be deprived of reasonable means of ingress and egress to his <br />property. <br /> <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of County Commissioners for <br />Cabarrus County, North Carolina: <br /> <br /> 1. That the segment of Coventry Road, Number Four Township, Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina, as described above be and the same is hereby closed. <br /> <br /> 2. That a copy of this Order be certified by the Clerk of this Board <br />and be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina. <br /> <br />Entered this the 16th day of May, 1983. <br /> <br /> Mr. C. D. Lyons, Chairman of the Cabarrus County Community Based <br />Alternatives (C.B.A.) Task Force, presented the proposed budget for the <br />1983-84 Fiscal Year for funding the Temporary Shelter Care Project, Wilderness <br />Adventure Program, Court Counseling Incentive Program, and the Cabarrus <br />County Court Psychological Evaluations Program. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Milloway <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the submission of the 1983-84 <br />budget proposals as recommended by the Cabarrus County C.B.A. Task Force <br />for continued funding of the Community Based Alternatives (C.B.A.) and <br />Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) programs as <br />follows. <br /> <br />Temporary Shelter Care Project <br />Funds for this program involves $53,455.00 in C.B.A. Funds; <br />$9,507.00 in JJDPA funds; $11,300.00 in local funds and <br />$15,296.00 in Lutheran Family Services Funds. Ail matching <br />cash funds will come from the Department of Social Services' <br />budget. <br /> <br />Wilderness'Adventure Program <br />Funding for this program involves the following: C.B.A. Funds <br />$4,000.00; Local funds $2,445.00. All local monies will be <br />in-kind matching funds. <br /> <br />Court Counseling Incentive Program <br />Funding for this program involves $500.00 in C.B.A. Funds; <br />$232.00 County match. The $232.00 matching funds will be pro- <br />vided by in-kind services. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Court P~ychological Evaluations Program <br />Funding of this project involves $2,000.00 in C.B.A. Funds and <br />$500.00 in local in-kind funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
