No. Description Budget Increase Decrease Budget <br /> <br /> EXPENSES <br />9-58-30-301 Office Supplies $ 1,905.00 $ 500.00 - $ 2,405.00 <br />9-58-30-179 Physician Fees 3,500.00 3,176.00 - 6,676.00 <br />9-58-30-182 Lab Fees 300.00 1,500.00 - 1,800.00 <br /> <br /> REVENUE <br />6-58-34-540 Maternal & Child <br /> Health <br /> <br />$172,291.00 <br /> <br />$5,176.00 <br /> <br />$177,467.00 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Milloway <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following proclamation. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Emergency Medical Services System in Cabarrus County <br />provides life-saving medical care to thousands of its citizens annually; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thousands of emergency medical technicians, paramedics, <br />emergency department physicians and nurses have completed extensive and <br />diversified training in emergency medical procedures; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a large portion of our citizens have been trained in <br />cardiopulmonary resuscitation in order to help fellow citizens in time <br />of need; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, concerned citizens and elected officials are serving on <br />regional emergency medical services councils throughout the state to <br />further guide the local development of a comprehensive emergency medical <br />care system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a large number of these individuals volunteer their time <br />to provide this valuable service; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, vast improvements in emergency medical services have been <br />made in this county during the past ten years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, recognition is due those who serve on behalf of all citizens <br />of Cabarrus County; now <br /> <br /> THEREFORE, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners does hereby <br />proclaim the week of September 18-24, 1983, as <br /> <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br /> <br />In Cabarrus County and commends this observance to our citizens. <br /> <br /> The Board discussed the possibility of having a dinner in honor of <br />all emergency services personnel in the county. The Board requested .......... <br />Commissioner Lentz, liaison to Emergency Services, and Commissioner <br />Barnhardt, liaison to the fire department, to determine if those persons <br />have an interest in a dinner. As a special observance of Emergency Medical Services <br />Week, Commissioner Lentz suggested that members of the Board of Commissioners <br />visit the Emergency Services facilities during the week of September 18-24, <br />1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
