427 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner ~{illoway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Mr. L. D. Coltrane, III, to <br />the Senior Citizens Advisory Council for a three-year term and reappointed <br />Ms. Minnie Walker and Mr. William V. Covington to the Senior Citizens <br />Advisory Council for a three-year term. The terms of appointment will <br />expire on November 1, 1986. <br /> The Board reviewed the recommendation submitted by Ms. Dorothy M. <br />Critz, Assistant Administrator of the Five Oaks Nursing Center, Inc., <br />for the appointment of Dr. R. S. Stephens or Mrs. Mary Lentz to the <br />Cabarrus County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee to fill the <br />vacancy created by the recent death of Ms. Naomi Tillman. By unanimous <br />vote, the Board appointed Dr. R. S. Stephens to the Nursing Home Community <br />Advisory Committee for an unexpired term ending December 31, 1985. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing shall be held at 7 o'clock, P.M., <br />on November 30, 1983, at the Cabarrus County Courthouse concerning the <br />creation of a County water and sewer district under the provisions of <br />Article 6 of Chapter 162A of the General Statutes of North Carolina in <br />the territory described in the Notice of Hearing for said District and that <br />said Notice shall be published as required by law. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Mr. Fleet S. Rice to the <br />Harrisburg Planning Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation <br />of Mr. Robert Furr.
