521 <br /> <br /> (2) between existing manholes provided the user installs a manhole <br />at the tap-on point. The distance between manholes, existing and/or proposed, <br />shall not be less than 100 feet. <br /> (h) Deposits. All 4 inch services will require an advance $25.00 <br />deposit for the guarantee of payment of final sewer bill. Ail services <br />larger than 4 inch will require an advance deposit equal to two months <br />estimated sewer bill. <br /> <br />Section XVII - Penalty; Costs. <br /> (a) The violation of any provision .of this ordinance shall subject <br />the offender to a civil penalty in the amount of $50.00 to be recovered <br />by the County. Violators shall be issued a written citation which must <br />be paid within 72 hours. <br /> (b) Each day's continuing violation of this ordinance shall be a <br />separate and distinct offense. <br /> (c) Notwithstanding subsection (a) above, this ordinance may also <br />be enforced by appropriate equitable remedies issuing from a court of <br />competent jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Section XVIII - Saving Clause. <br /> If any provision, paragraph, work section or article of this Ordinance <br />is invalidated by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining <br />provisions, paragraphs, words, sections, and articles shall not be affected <br />and shall continue in full force and effect. <br /> <br />Section XIX - Conflict. <br /> <br /> Ail ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent or conflicting <br />with any part of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such <br />inconsistency or conflict. <br /> <br />Section XX - Maximum Restrictions. <br /> <br /> The effluent standards and limitations contained in this Ordinance <br />shall be no more restrictive than the most nearly~ applicable federal <br />effluent standards and limitations. In the event the effluent standards <br />and limitations adopted in this Ordinance are more restrictive than the <br />most nearly applicable federal effluent standards and limitations, then <br />the said federal standards shall apply. <br /> <br />Section XXI - Authority <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be reviewed annually on April 1 and may be <br />amended from time to time by the Board of County Commissioners, and in no <br />way affects existing contracts which may be in force between the Board of <br />Commissioners and other bodies, public or private; and shall in no <br />way restrict the Commissioners negotiating future contracts with other <br />bodies, public or private. <br /> <br />Section XXII - Effective Date <br /> <br /> This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the <br />5th day of March, 1984. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />/s/ Frankie F.
