By: /s/ James W. Lentz

Mr. Douglas Zawiskie, architect with Kimball and Associates, reported
that insufficient bids had been received on this date for the Jail construc-
tion project.
UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unani-
mously carried, the Board moved to readvertise for~ bids for the Jail annex
project with bids to be received at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 1987, in
the Commissioners' Meeting Room.
Ms. Queen Harris, speaking on behalf of the 12 property owners on Urban
Drive, questioned why that street had not been paved and Maderia Drive and
Barrington Street had been paved. She stated there were 12 homes on Urban
Drive and three school buses traveled the street daily during the school year.
Chairman Lentz explained that the County was not involved with the paving
of roads in the County. However, he directed Mr. James F. Owens, Planning
Director, to contact the Department of Transportation regarding Urban Drive
and to report his findings to Ms. Harris within the next ten days.
UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Chairman Lentz and unani-
mously carried, the Board approved the following Sewer Easement Relocation.
