Sewer Charges <br /> (b) Sewer Rates <br /> <br /> (1) The volume of flow used in computing residential or commercial <br />waste shall be based upon metered water consumption. Where the person <br />discharging wastes, other than industrial waste, into the sanitary sewers of <br />Cabarrus County, procures all or part of his water supply from sources other <br />than the Board, all or part of which is discharged in the sanitary sewer, the <br />person discharging said waste shall install and maintain, at his expense, a <br />water meter of a type approved by the Board, for the purpose of determining <br />the proper volume of flow to be charged. <br /> <br /> Charges for the sewer service shall be computed according to the pre- <br />vailing sewer rate of $1.50 per 1,000 gallons. Said charges shall be paid at <br />the Tax Collector's Office on or before the 14th of each month. After that <br />date, the customer will be notified that the account is delinquent and a late <br />payment fee added to the outstanding bill. Sanitary sewer service will be <br />disconnected at the main on unpaid accounts in arrears when the balance due <br />is greater than or equal to the security deposit. The user will be <br />responsible for all costs of disconnection, reconnection and current past due <br />sewer charges including penalties. <br /> <br />Section XVI. Sewer Charges <br /> <br /> (d) Payment for Services <br /> <br /> (1) SeWer accounts shall be paid at the Tax Collector's office on or <br />before the 14th of each month. <br /> <br /> (2) Late notices shall be mailed to all unpaid accounts not paid on or <br />before the 14th of each month. Sewer charges will be considered past due <br />without further notice On accounts that have not been paid on or before the <br />14th of each month, and a $1.50 penalty charge will be made each month the <br />account is unpaid. <br /> <br />Section XVI. Sewer Charges <br /> <br /> (h) Deposits. Ail 4 inch services will require an advance $50.00 <br />deposit for the guarantee of payment of final sewer bill. Ail services <br />larger than 4 inch will require an advance deposit equal to two months <br />estimated sewer bill. <br /> <br /> <br />
