The County shall allocate and pay to CVAN twelve (12) monthly payments of $833.33 each for a total of $10,000.00 with each payment to be made on or about the last day of each month commencing in July, 1989. 4. CVAN will undergo an audit of its operations conducted by a Certified Public Accountant and will submit a copy of the report of this audit to the Department of Social Services within ninety 90 days of the conclusion of CVAN's established fiscal year. 5. CVAN agrees to hold the County and the Department of Social Services harmless for any and all liability, damages, or claims, including attorney's fees, that might be asserted or suffered by the County or the Department of Social Services as a result of any act or omission of any of CVAN's officers, employees, agents or representatives arising out of this contract. 6. This contract may be terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days prior to written notice to the other party. Cook, Jr., Social Services Director, to execute the following contract between Cabarrus County and Cooperative Christian Ministry. CABARRUS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES CONTRACT This contract made by and between Cabarrus County, hereinafter referred to as the "County", by and through its Department of Social Services, and Cooperative Christian Ministry, hereinafter referred to as GCM. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, CCM provides crisis assistance and other supportive services to individuals and families in need and is properly incorporated in the State of North Carolina for this purpose; and WHEREAS, CCM wishes to secure the financial support of the County for a portion of the costs incurred in providing these services; and WHEREAS, the County, in the interest of the welfare of its citizens, desires to provide financial support for a portion of the costs incurred by CCM in its provision of these services; and WHEREAS, The County has appropriated the sum of $10,000 for this purpose for the period July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1990. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the County and CCM do mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. This contract shall begin July 1, 1989 and shall exist and continue through June 30, 1990. 2. GCM shall provide its services to individuals who qualify for these services in relation to CCM's established policies in a manner specified by these policies. These policies are understood to provide for compliance with Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as appropriate, in addition to any other local ordinances, state laws, and federal regulations which may be applicable to CCM and its services. 3.
