<br />and unanimously carried, the Board accepted the Tax Collector's annual
<br />settlement and approved the Order to Collect in accordance with NCGS 105 -321.

<br />You are hereby authorized, empowered, and commanded to collect the 2016 property
<br />taxes filed in the office of the Cabarrus County Assessor, and in the tax
<br />receipts herewith delivered to you, in the amounts and from the taxpayers
<br />likewise set forth. Such taxes are hereby declared to be a first lien upon all
<br />real property of the respective taxpayers in the County of Cabarrus, and this
<br />order shall be a full and sufficient authority to direct, require and enable
<br />you to levy on and sell any real or personal property of such taxpayer, for and
<br />an account thereof, in accordance with the law.

<br />(G -1) EDC - Economic Development Investment for Project Hornet - Public Heari
<br />6:30 P.M.
<br />EeeAnn Nixon, Existing Industry Project Manager, Cabarrus Economic
<br />Development Corporation (EDC) , presented an Economic Development Investment
<br />request for Project Hornet (ISE Enterprises, Inc.). She stated ISE Enterprises
<br />proposes to construct a 30,000 square foot building at 849 Biscayne Drive in
<br />Kannapolis with a projected total investment of $2,750,000.00 ($2,400,000.00 in
<br />real estate and $350,000.00 in equipment and personal property). ISE currently
<br />employs 35 full -time employees and 17 part -time employees at its current
<br />location at 1151 Biscayne Drive in Kannapolis with plans to add an additional
<br />20 full- -time and 3 part -time employees over the next three years at an average
<br />wage of $10 per hour (non - skilled) $12 -$26 per hour (skilled labor) with 95
<br />percent of the workforce as skilled labor. She stated a three -year investment
<br />equivalent to 85 percent of the ad valorem taxes on the increase in real and
<br />personal property tax values is requested. Samantha Grass, Project Manager,
<br />Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (EDC), was also in attendance.
