Participation in this <br /> initiative also benefits job seekers preparing for employment through <br /> understanding the skills employers require. <br /> A local committee met for the first time in September and is working to <br /> submit the initial application in the process to become a Certified Work Ready <br /> Community. The application packet requires a letter of commitment from various <br /> entities and interest groups throughout the County, one of which is the Board <br /> of Commissioners. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Certified Work Ready Community <br /> letter of commitment. <br /> (F-4) BOC - Resolution Amending the Board of Commissioners' 2016 Meeting <br /> Schedule <br /> Board members have consulted their schedules and Thursday, December 15, <br /> 2016 was selected to hold the Cabarrus Summit - 4th Quarterly Meeting at the <br /> City of Concord.
