Should the Board agree to reduce the <br /> asking price, he stated all interested parties will be notified of the new <br /> price. <br /> A discussion ensued. During discussion, Mr. Bilafer and Richard Koch, <br /> County Attorney, responded to questions from the Board. Items addressed <br /> included: activity on the property; feedback from interested parties; incorrect <br /> acreage initially listed; the upset bid process; etc. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board approved to amend the recommended listing price <br /> for 2323 Concord Lake Road to $375, 000.00. <br /> (F) CONSENT <br /> (F-1) Finance - CCS Agency Agreement New High School on Weddington Road <br /> Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) Agency Agreement, among other items, allows <br /> the County to appoint the Cabarrus Board of Education as its agent in connection <br /> with the construction and equipping of a new high school. <br /> The Cabarrus Board of Education shall cause a new high school to be <br /> completed in accordance with the respective construction documents and any <br /> applicable requirements of governmental authorities and law. The County and <br /> Board of Education agree that all amounts received as refunds of State sales <br /> tax, with respect to expenditures made in connection with the project, will be <br /> deposited as funds available for the acquisition and construction of the project <br /> or used to pay debt service on the installment financing issued to fund this <br /> project. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Cabarrus County Schools Agency <br /> Agreement for the new high school project, subject to review and revision by <br /> the County Attorney. <br /> (F-2) Finance - CCS Agency Agreement New Performance Learning Center <br /> Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) Agency Agreement, among other items, allows <br /> the County to appoint the Cabarrus Board of Education as its agent in connection <br /> with the construction and equipping of a new Performance Learning Center. <br /> The Cabarrus Board of Education shall cause the new Performance Learning <br /> Center project to be completed in accordance with the respective construction <br /> documents and any applicable requirements of governmental authorities and law. <br /> The County and Board of Education agree that all amounts received as refunds of <br /> State sales tax, with respect to expenditures made in connection with the <br /> project, will be deposited as funds available for the acquisition and <br /> construction of the project or used to pay debt service on the installment <br /> financing issued to fund this project. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Cabarrus County Schools Agency <br /> Agreement for the new Performance Learning Center project, subject to review <br /> and revision by the County Attorney. <br /> (F-3) Finance - Update of Capital Project Fund Budgets and Related Project <br /> Ordinances <br /> Each year the multi-year fund budgets and project ordinances are evaluated <br /> and updated. Based on the Finance Department's evaluation: <br /> Budget amendments and project ordinance updates are included with this <br /> agenda for the Construction and Renovation Fund (Fund 343) , the Limited <br /> Obligation 2017 Fund (Fund 369) , the Capital Reserve Fund (Fund 450) , and the <br /> Small Projects Fund (Fund 460) . Also included with the update is the <br /> consolidation of the Construction and Renovation Fund (Fund 343) Parking Deck <br /> project into the Limited Obligation 2017 Fund (Fund 369) for account tracking <br /> purposes. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board approved the multi-year budget amendments <br /> and revised project ordinances. <br /> Date: 5/15/2017 Amount: $393,961.55 <br /> Dept.
