The proposed agreement will extend the service for an <br />additional five years: FY15 -FY19. <br />Commissioner Honeycutt MOVED to approve the revised contract subject to <br />review of the County Attorney, County Manager and both school districts. <br />Commissioner Shue seconded the motion. <br />Chairman Morris stated it is another example of cooperative efforts <br />between the entities to do things more efficiently and economically. <br />The MOTION unanimously carried. <br />H) APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES <br />(H -1) Appointments - Board of Equalization and Review <br />Glen Tucker (member) and Helen McInnis (alternate member) serve on the <br />Board of Equalization and Review and have terms expiring June 30, 2015. Both <br />have indicated they are willing to be reappointed. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Glen Tucker (Member) and Helen <br />McInnis (Alternate) to the Board of Equalization and Review for three -year <br />terms ending June 30, 2018. <br />(H -2) Appointments and Removals - Cabarrus County Youth Commission <br />2015: <br />The following Cabarrus Youth Commissioners have terms ending June 30, <br />Michael Walker - Cox Mill High School <br />Sydney Boone - Cox Mill High School <br />Hunter Moore - Mouth Pleasant High School <br />Sophia Politis - Hickory Ridge High School <br />Ashton Brown - Jay M Robinson High School <br />Taylor Freeze - At Large - Concord First Assembly <br />Mason Zgoda - At Large - Homeschooled <br />Mariana Mendez - At Large - Homeschcoled <br />The following Cabarrus Youth Commissioners have accepted a <br />reappointment: <br />Cooper McAuley - Central Cabarrus High School <br />Keely Curry - Central Cabarrus High School <br />The following students have accepted appointments to the Cabarrus <br />County Youth Commission: <br />Kayla Bollenbecker - Mouth Pleasant High School <br />Nicholas Walker - Cox Mill High School <br />Kenya Banks Cox Mill High School <br />Abby Moose - Northwest Cabarrus High School <br />John Clay Maguire - At large (Cannon School <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the aforementioned appointments, <br />reappointments and removals to the Cabarrus County Youth Commission. <br />Note: It was then decided to issue three separate motions for the <br />appointments to the Youth Commission. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board removed following Cabarrus County Youth <br />Commissioners from the roster due to graduation and /or expiring term and <br />thanked them for their service: <br />Michael Walker <br />Sydney Boone - <br />Hunter Moore - <br />Sophia Politis <br />Ashton Brown - <br />Taylor Freeze <br />Mason Zgoda - <br />Mariana Mendez <br />- Cox Mill High School <br />Cox Mill High School <br />Mount Pleasant High School <br />- Hickory Ridge High School <br />Jay M Robinson High School <br />- At Large - Concord First Assembly <br />kt Large - Homeschooled <br />- At Large - Homeschooled <br />
