August 17, 2015 (Regular Meeting) Page 2528 <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Sandra Miller and Diamond <br />Staton - Williams to the Adult Care Nome Community Advisory Committee for <br />three -year terms ending July 31, 2018. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board removed Janet Haywood from the Adult Care Home <br />Community Advisory Committee roster and thanked her for her service. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Tara Smith and Walter Rumple, 7V <br />to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee for one -year terms ending <br />August 31, 2016. <br />(H -2) Appointments - Cabarrus County Animal Protection Advisory Board <br />The Board established the Cabarrus County Animal Protection Advisory <br />Board by its action at the regular meeting on August 17, 2015. The newly <br />established advisory board will have five members with staggered two and <br />three --year terms. <br />Currently, three applications have been received. It is requested to <br />appoint three members to the Cabarrus County Animal Protection Advisory Board <br />for three -year terms ending August 31, 2018. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Ann Cannon, Carol Miller and <br />Michael Robinson to the Cabarrus County Animal Protection Advisory Board for <br />three -year terms ending August 31, 2018. <br />(H -3) Appointments and Removals - Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission <br />The term of Mr. Ted Kluttz "Concord Area Representative" on the <br />Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission ends August 31, 2015. He has <br />served three years as a regular member and three years as an Alternate, At- <br />Large- member. He does not wish to be reappointed. <br />The term of Mr. Jonathan Rett "Alternate Member" on the Cabarrus County <br />Planning and Zoning Commission ends August 31, 2015. He has served three <br />years as an Alternate member. He does not wish to be reappointed. <br />Ms. Mary Blakeney's term as an At -Large member expires August 31, 2015. <br />She is willing to be reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission and is <br />eligible to fill the Concord area position vacated by Ted Kluttz. <br />An application has been received from Mr. James Litaker and he is <br />eligible to fill the At -Large member position vacated by Ms. Mary Blakeney. <br />An application has been received from Mr. Steve Wise and he is eligible <br />to fill the Alternate member position vacated by Mr. Jonathan Rett. <br />Mr. Richard Price represents the Midland Area and is willing to be <br />reappointed for another term. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board removed Ted Kluttz and Jonathan Rett from the <br />Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission roster and thanked them for <br />their service. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Mary Blakeney to the Cabarrus <br />County Planning and Zoning Commission as the "Concord Area" representative <br />for a three -year term ending August 31, 2018. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed James Litaker to the Cabarrus County <br />Planning and Zoning Commission as an "At- large" representative for a three - <br />year term ending August 31, 2018. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Steve Wise to the Cabarrus County <br />Planning and Zoning Commission as an "Alternate" member for a three -year term <br />ending August 31, 2018. <br />
