It was not determined at that time that the Board would hold quarterly Summit meetings. Members of the Board have consulted their schedules and Tuesday, September 22, 2015 has been selected for the Cabarrus Summit - 3rd Quarterly Meeting. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue, the Board adopted the Resolution Amending the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners' Meeting Schedule for Calendar Year 2015. Resolution No, 2015 -20 Resolution Amending the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners 2015 Meeting Schedule Whereas, on December 15, 2014, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners adopted a meeting schedule for calendar year 2015, which sets forth the dates, times and locations of various official county meetings; and Whereas, the Board desires to hold the Cabarrus Summit 2015 3rd Quarterly Meeting at 6 :00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord, North Carolina; Now, therefore be it resolved, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners hereby amends its 2015 Meeting Schedule as follows: The Board of Commissioners will hold the Cabarrus Summit 2015 3rd Quarterly Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on September 22, 2015 at the Arena and Events Center in Concord, North Carolina. There is no financial benefit to the County to continue utilization of this organization for self - insured insurance purposes. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and unanimously carried, the Board dissolved the Carolina Governmental Alliance and authorized the County Attorney to act as necessary in order to dissolve the non - profit organization.
