December 15, 2014 (Regular Meeting) <br />Page 2231 <br />wishes to hold the required public hearing before making a decision on that <br />closure; and <br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has <br />requested the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners to consider this action <br />and provide a resolution of intent; and <br />WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, at their regular meeting <br />on December 15, 2014, considered this action; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />expresses its intent to consider the closure and abandonment of public <br />maintenance of S.R. 2481 (North Drive), as described on the attached Exhibit, <br />and to hold a public hearing to provide for public input on this action. <br />Adopted this 15th day of December, 2014. <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />BY: /s/ Stephen M.
