December 15, 2014 (Regular Meeting) <br />SITE PLAN <br />Page 223.2 <br />(F -12) Planning and Development - Elma C. Lomax Incubator Farm Extension of <br />Temporary Agreement with Carolina Farm Stewardship Association <br />At the June 16, 2014 Board of Commissioner's meeting, the Cabarrus <br />County Board of Commissioners voted to eliminate funding for the Elma C. <br />Lomax Incubator Farm. At the July 21, 2014 Board of Commissioner's meeting, <br />the Board agreed to enter into a temporary agreement with Carolina Farm <br />Stewardship Association to administer farm operations until permanent <br />arrangements could be made. The temporary agreement expires on December 31, <br />2014. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to extend the temporary agreement <br />between Cabarrus County and Carolina Farm Stewardship Association from <br />January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015 and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the agreement, subject to review or revision by the County Attorney. <br />(F -13) Salisbury -Rowan Community Action Agency, Inc. - Presentation of FY <br />15 -16 Application for Funding <br />Representatives from the Salisbury -Rowan Community Action Agency, Inc. <br />(SRCAA) will present their FY2015 -16 Application for Funding.
