The 2014- <br />2015 theme was "Wetlands are Wonderful ". The local conservation essay and <br />public speaking contest was held on December 9 <br />Hannah Hursey, Resource Conservation Coordinator, presented information <br />regarding opportunities for learning at the Conservation Field School at <br />Clarke Creek. She then recognized winners of the 2014 -2015 NC Association of <br />Soil and Water Conservation Districts Annual Conservation Education <br />Competition. <br />The 2014 -2015 Conservation Contest Winners are: <br />24rd Annual Essay Contest - 6th Grade <br />1st place Justice Hatcher, J.
