December 15, 2014 (Regular Meeting) Page 2224 Each year, the Active Living and Parks Department reviews the Fees and Charges Policy, presents it to the Active Living and Parks Commission and Senior Centers Advisory Board, and recommends changes to the Board of Commissioners. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Active Living and Parks 2015 Fees and Charges Policy. The Fees and Charges Policy as adopted by the Board is on file in the County Manager's Office and hereby included by reference as part of the minutes. (F -2) BOC - ACT Work Ready Communities The Board reviewed and discussed the ACT Work Ready Communities initiative at the December work session. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt and unanimously carried, the Board moved to support Cabarrus County becoming an ACT Work Ready Community and authorized the creation of a committee to further initiate the application process. (F -3) BOC - Commissioner ZUointments for 2015 The following chart outlines Commissioner appointments to various boards and committees and appointments as liaisons to the surrounding municipalities for 2015. The Commissioner appointment to the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions Oversight Committee vacated by former Commissioner Chris Measmer expires July 31, 2015. It is requested to appoint Commissioner Grace Mynatt to complete that unexpired term. TAC -TCC Cabarrus -Rowan Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) requests the appointment of representatives to the TAC and TCC as indicated in the attached letter. In addition to Commissioners Poole and Morris' appointments included in the following chart, it is requested that Jonathan Marshall be reappointed to the TCC for a one -year term and Susie Morris be appointed as an alternate to the TCC, for a one -year term. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Commissioner appointments for 2015 as set forth in the Agenda. By the same motion, the Board appointed Commissioner Mynatt to the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions Oversight Committee to fulfill an unexpired term ending July 31, 2015; and reappointed Jonathan Marshall and appointed Susie Morris to the TCC for one - year terms ending December 31, 2015.
