December 15, 2014 (Regular Meeting) <br />Page 2224 <br />Each year, the Active Living and Parks Department reviews the Fees and <br />Charges Policy, presents it to the Active Living and Parks Commission and <br />Senior Centers Advisory Board, and recommends changes to the Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Active Living and Parks 2015 <br />Fees and Charges Policy. The Fees and Charges Policy as adopted by the Board <br />is on file in the County Manager's Office and hereby included by reference as <br />part of the minutes. <br />(F -2) BOC - ACT Work Ready Communities <br />The Board reviewed and discussed the ACT Work Ready Communities <br />initiative at the December work session. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to support Cabarrus County becoming <br />an ACT Work Ready Community and authorized the creation of a committee to <br />further initiate the application process. <br />(F -3) BOC - Commissioner ZUointments for 2015 <br />The following chart outlines Commissioner appointments to various <br />boards and committees and appointments as liaisons to the surrounding <br />municipalities for 2015. <br />The Commissioner appointment to the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare <br />Solutions Oversight Committee vacated by former Commissioner Chris Measmer <br />expires July 31, 2015. It is requested to appoint Commissioner Grace Mynatt <br />to complete that unexpired term. <br />TAC -TCC Cabarrus -Rowan Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization <br />The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) requests the appointment <br />of representatives to the TAC and TCC as indicated in the attached letter. <br />In addition to Commissioners Poole and Morris' appointments included in the <br />following chart, it is requested that Jonathan Marshall be reappointed to the <br />TCC for a one -year term and Susie Morris be appointed as an alternate to the <br />TCC, for a one -year term. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Commissioner appointments for <br />2015 as set forth in the Agenda.
