<br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner Measmer
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Cabarrus County School's QSCB
<br />reallocation of various project budgets totaling $13,835.00 and related budget
<br />amendment contingent on the Cabarrus County Board of Education's approval on
<br />December 2, 2013.

<br />(F -7) ITS - Interlocal Agreement to Provide Accela Automation Software
<br />Hosting and Licensing to the City of Concord
<br />Cabarrus County has been using Accela since 2008, and began work on a
<br />joint City- County project in 2013 which will allow the City of Concord to
<br />share the Accela Automation software. The City, in conjunction with the
<br />County, has completed a Scope of Work leading to a contract proposal from
<br />Accela to implement the software solution for the City utilizing the County's
<br />existing computer infrastructure. As part of the proposal, Accela requires
<br />the establishment of an intergovernmental agreement between the City and the
<br />County. This agreement will allow Accela to amend their license agreement
<br />with the County, naming Concord as a third -party beneficiary to use the Accela
<br />Automation software within Concord's geographical and political boundaries.
<br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner Measmer
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Interlocal Agreement between
<br />Cabarrus County and the City of Concord and authorized the County Manager to
<br />execute the agreement on behalf of Cabarrus County, subject to review and /or
<br />revision by the County Attorney.
<br />(F -8) ITS - Child Protective Services Mobile Solution Request
<br />Compass@ Copilot is a mobile application that puts the functionality of
<br />Compass Pilot on a tablet computer. Social workers in the field use Compass
<br />CoPilot to access all case and client information, forms, documents, tasks and
<br />appointment information, just as they would in the office. This technology
<br />ensures social workers are never without the files and information they need
<br />while they're in the field. During client visits, social workers can use
<br />Compass Copilot to record interviews, take photos, and document and notate
<br />their findings in the files. Being able to accomplish all of this with a
<br />tablet makes gathering the information less intrusive, helping put clients at
<br />ease and allowing for better interactions. Compass Copilot automatically
<br />syncs the new information with the agency's Compass® system back at the
<br />office.
