April 18, 2011 (Regular Meeting) Page 376 <br />Whereas, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution <br />No. 2010 -32 on December 20, 2010, which established the Board's meeting <br />schedule for calendar year 2011 ; and <br />Whereas, on December 20 the date for County Assembly Day had not been <br />determined by the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners ( NCACC); <br />and <br />Whereas, Resolution No. 2010 -32 also established budget workshops for <br />May 24, 25 and 26 at the Governmental Center in Concord; and <br />Whereas, NCACC later determined that County Assembly Day will be held <br />on May 25 in Raleigh, which created a scheduling conflict with the budget <br />workshops; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners hereby amends its 2011 meeting schedule as follows: <br />P.M. <br />1 "5w <br />May 25: County Assembly Day - Raleigh, North Carolina <br />May 31: Budget Workshop - Multipurpose Room, Governmental Center, 3:30 <br />June 1: Budget Workshop - Multipurpose Room, Governmental Center, 3:30 <br />Adopted this the 18 day of April, 2011. <br />/s/ H.
