<br />Len Witke, Cabarrus County Schools, presented an update on the status
<br />of QSCB projects for Cabarrus County Schools (CSS) as follows:

<br />Mr. Witke advised that CCS will meet its October 15 deadline by

<br />ill and therefore unable to present his information.
<br />Sheriff's Office - Discuss Leasing Kitchen Space in new Detention Center to
<br />Aramark
<br />Aging - Nutrition Program Food Vendor Contract FY 2012
<br />Chief Deputy Paul Hunt, Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department,
<br />introduced Kevin Plante with Aramark, the jail's food service provider.
<br />Chief Hunt advised that Aramark has asked to lease a portion of the kitchen
<br />space in the Detention Center for preparing meals for Anson County's Meals on
<br />Wheels program and the LunchPlus nutrition program at the Cabarrus County
<br />Senior Center. He further advised that this arrangement would not interfere
<br />with jail operations.
