This action took place so that all self - insured insurance
programs which are administered by the CGA could be located under one entity.
This will aid in the administration of the two plans. The CGA was
established by the Board of Commissioners in 1997 with Rowan and Cabarrus
County being the only two members at that time. Since the Worker's
Compensation program has been transferred, the county needs to eliminate the
adopted budget for FY 2012.
UPON MOTION of Commissioner Burrage, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole
and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment:
Date:7/15/2011 Amount:$603,213
Dept.
