Mission Statement <br />"In partnership with the community, our mission it to enhance the <br />quality of life for our citizens through integrated and <br />comprehensive services that assist, empower, and build upon the <br />strengths of our children, families, adults, and older adults." <br />B. Vision Statement <br />"Through community partnership and effective collaboration, <br />Cabarrus County Human Services will be a leader and innovator in <br />providing quality seamless services to the citizens. CCHS will <br />strive to streamline services to the citizens to effectively meet <br />the needs of a changing economy, improve lives, and create <br />opportunity. " <br />C. Agency Values <br />Cabarrus County Human Services provides critical social and well <br />being services to the citizens of the county. In order to do so <br />effectively, the agency must operate with core values that <br />promote positive outcomes for those being served. CCHS will <br />maintain the following values in daily practice: <br />• Accountability <br />• Integrity <br />• Respect <br />• Positive Change <br />• Positive Leadership <br />• Sustainability <br />• Open Communication <br />D. Customer Service Values <br />The Cabarrus County Human Service Agency is here to serve the <br />public within the means provided by funding and within the rules <br />provided by the programs. Customer service is core to the day to <br />day functions of the CCHS. The agency will practice the following <br />customer service values at all times: <br />• Treat each visitor with respect and dignity at all times <br />• Provide timely and quality services to the customers at all <br />times <br />• Be nonjudgmental in regards to all persons seeking services <br />or requiring assistance <br />• Protect the confidentiality as required for each person <br />receiving services <br />• Provide a customer - centered, holistic approach to services <br />that promotes self determination when possible and empowers <br />the customer to have input regarding all services <br />• Be resourceful for persons seeking assistance to ensure <br />that all social, well - being, and economic needs are <br />addressed <br />• Engage with customers, stakeholders, partners, and the <br />community at large to meet the needs of the citizens within <br />the parameters establish by funding and programs <br />E. Goals and Objectives <br />The following goals and objectives are assigned in developing the <br />implementation of the Cabarrus County Human Services Agency: <br />1. Develop a mechanism in which staff is empowered in the <br />planning of services for a fully integrated Human Services Agency <br />Assigned: Senior Management Team /Designated Agency Staff <br />Date: Implement January 2012 <br />Objectives: <br />• Develop an empowerment team of staff from all agencies <br />• Empower staff to develop sound business practices and <br />communication plans for the agency when integrated <br />physically <br />
