December 19, 2011 (Regular Meeting) <br />(E) OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />F) CONSENT AGENDA <br />(F -1) BOC - Commissioner Appointments for 2012 <br />•..- I .y <br />The following chart outlines Commissioner appointments to various <br />boards /committees and as liaisons to the surrounding municipalities for 2012. <br />APPAL (Animal Protection and Preservation Advisory Committee <br />Commissioner Carruth's term on the APPAC expires December 19, 2011. <br />His reappointment is requested for a 1 -year term ending December 3, 2012. <br />TAC -TCC Cabarrus -Rowan Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization <br />The MPO requests the appointment of representatives to the TAC and TCC <br />as indicated in the attached letter. It is requested that Commissioner Poole <br />and Commissioner Burrage (Alternate) be appointed as the representatives to <br />the TAC for a 1 -year term. It is also requested that Jonathan Marshall and <br />Susie Morris (Alternate) be appointed to the TCC for a 1 -year term. <br />Home and Communitv Care Block Grant Advisory Committee <br />Commissioner White's term on the HCCBG ends December 31, 2011. It is <br />requested that he be reappointed for a 1 -year term ending December 31, 2012. <br />JCPC (Juvenile Crime Prevention Council) <br />Commissioner Measmer's term on the JCPC ends December 19, 2011. It is <br />requested that he be reappointed for a 1 -year term ending December 31, 2012. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Vice Chairman Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Commissioner appointments for <br />2012 as set forth in the following table.
