Office to which the employee is currently assigned. <br />The term "salary" includes pay, benefits, incentives, bonuses, and deferred <br />and all other forms of compensation. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the recommended revisions to the <br />Cabarrus County Personnel Ordinance, effective date of October 1, 2010, with <br />authorization for staff to make necessary formatting and grammatical <br />adjustments in the published document. <br />(F -13) Parks Department - Approval of Acquisition of Real Property at No <br />Cost <br />A 14.1 acre tract of land, adjacent to the 47.9 acre tract the BOC <br />approved for purchase at the June 21, 2010 meeting, is available for <br />purchase. The Carolina Thread Trail / Clean Water Management Trust Fund <br />Grant has been increased to $194,288.00 to cover the cost of the additional <br />acreage. <br />Lands Conservancy will pay the landowner the total grant amount and <br />Cabarrus County will pay $10,000.00 closing, legal, survey, and associated <br />fees (no budget amendment necessary for purchase). <br />The Parks Commission reviewed the proposal at their August 18, 2010 <br />meeting and unanimously voted to recommend the additional purchase to the <br />Board of Commissioners. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the acquisition of real property <br />(ID# 5579356630, Augsburg Communities LLC) and authorized the County Manager <br />and County Attorney to execute all related documents. <br />(F -14) Parks Department - Approval of Matching Incentive Grant Requests - FY <br />2010 -2011 and Adoption of Related Budget Amendment <br />On August 19, 2010, the Cabarrus County Parks Commission reviewed seven <br />matching incentive grant requests and recommends the following projects be <br />approved for FY 2010 -2011: <br />Grantee <br />Amount <br />Purpose <br />Bethel Elementary <br />$4,123.00 <br />Picnic Shelter <br />Charles E.
