The required local match <br />(10 %) is met through in -kind expenses that are currently included in the <br />Department of Aging FY'2011 budget and requires no additional County funds in <br />order to accept these grant funds. This increase of $132,182.00 will fund <br />thirteen (13) new temporary part -time positions and provide a 32 percent <br />increase in Title V - SCSEP services for Cabarrus County. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board accepted the grant award, approved the <br />establishment of thirteen (13) new temporary part -time Title V - SCSEP <br />positions, approved the contract and authorized the County Manager to execute <br />it on behalf of the Board. The City has <br />completed preliminary routing and would like to proceed with the greenway. <br />The easement has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Education. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Grant of Greenway Permanent <br />Easement and Temporary Construction Easement (Parcel Pin No. 5548 -79 -3891) <br />and authorized the County Attorney and Commission Chairman to execute the <br />document. <br />(F -3) Commerce - Language Access Plan for CDBG Clients <br />Cabarrus County Department of Commerce will be required to have a <br />Language Access Plan in order to participate in the 2010 CDBG Scattered Site <br />Housing Program. This plan is similar to the plan in place at the Department <br />of Social Services. Social Services has agreed to provide translators to <br />Commerce if bilingual Commerce Staff are unavailable. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the Language Access Plan for CDBG <br />clients as set forth in the agenda. <br />(F -4) Commerce - Proclamation of Weatherization Day <br />
