It is requested the item be removed from the Agenda. (G-5) Commerce - Request for Revision of Consent Agreement for Waterford on the Rocky River Subdivision (Tables from November) Supplemental Information: (G-6) BOC - Consideration of Whether to Remain a Member of the Centralina Council of Governments • Resolution 09-07 - Town of Spencer's Intent to Withdraw Membership from Centralina Council of Governments • Excerpts from Section C of the Centralina Council of Governments Bylaws • General Statute ~160A-474. Withdrawal from council. • Resolution - Intent to Withdraw Membership from Centralina Council of Governments UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Agenda as amended. (C) RECOGNITIONS AND PRESENTATIONS Chairman White recognized Carl Ford, Chairman of the Rowan County Board of Commissioners and Wayne Williams, Chairman of the Cabarrus County Board of Education and thanked them for attending the meeting. Commissioner Carruth offered congratulations to over 150 employees who were recognized earlier today for their service to Cabarrus County. Chairman White noted the cumulative years of service of all employees equaled 1,700 years. He expressed the Board's gratitude for the employees' service to the County. (F) CONSENT AGENDA (F-1) BOC - Resolution Establishing the 2010 Meeting Schedule The Resolution Establishing the 2010 Meeting Schedule establishes the Board's meeting schedule for 2010 and includes meeting dates for agenda work sessions (1st Mondays), regular meetings (3rd Mondays), budget meetings, certain conferences and a retreat. The Board's annual retreat is scheduled for February 26-27 at Camp T. N. Spencer. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution: Resolution No. 2009-27 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2010 WHEREAS, the regular agenda work sessions of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held on the first Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday requires a change in the regular meeting date in January 2010; and
