Describe recipient's method of receiving and resolving housing <br />discrimination complaints. This may be either a procedure currently being <br />implemented or one to be implemented under this CDBG grant. Include a <br />description of how the recipient informs the public about the complaint <br />procedures. (Use additional pages as necessary.) <br />1. Any person or persons wishing to file a complaint of housing <br />discrimination in the county may do so by informing the county <br />administrator of the facts and circumstance of the alleged <br />discriminatory acts or practice. <br />2. Upon receiving a housing discrimination complaint, the county <br />administrator shall acknowledge the complaint within 10 days in writing <br />and inform the North Carolina Human Relations Commission about the <br />complaint. <br />3. The county administrator shall offer assistance to the commission in <br />the investigation and reconciliation of all housing discrimination <br />complaints which are based on events occurring in the county. <br />9. Carruth, Chairman <br />Board of Commissioners <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />RESIDENTIAL ANTIDISPLACEMENT AND <br />RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PLAN <br />UNDER SECTION 109(d) OF THE HOUSING AND <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AS AMENDED <br />The County will replace all occupied and vacant occupiable low/moderate- <br />income dwelling units demolished or converted to a use other than as <br />low/moderate-income housing as a direct result of activities assisted with <br />funds provided under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1979, as <br />amended, as described in 29 CFR 570.606(6)(1). <br />All replacement housing will be provided within three years of the <br />commencement of the demolition or rehabilitation relating to conversion. <br />Before obligating or expending funds that will directly result in such <br />demolition or conversion, the County will make public and submit to the <br />Division of Community Assistance the following information in writing: <br />
