Further, the Board authorized <br />the Chairman to execute the document. <br />(F-4) Parks Department - Proposed Organizational Structure <br />After reviewing the Parks Department's organizational structure and <br />direction, the following reorganization is requested: (1) Reclassify the <br />existing Park Development Manager (Position No. 8110002) to a Park Program <br />Manager; (2) Change the job responsibility/title change for the Athletic <br />Program Supervisor (Position No. 8110003) to a Park Program Manager; and (3) <br />Establish a new Park Program Supervisor (Position No. 8110004). No <br />additional funds are required to implement the proposed organizational <br />structure. The proposed reorganization was unanimously approved by the Parks <br />Commission. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the reorganization of the Parks <br />Department as presented, including the creation of Position No. 8110009. <br />ank Liske Park Soccer Com <br />The Frank Liske Soccer Complex Operating Committee recommends <br />designating the Soccer Complex as a "youth only complex" (18 years old and <br />under) until 2012 to allow the turf to establish itself after the renovation <br />of all 11 soccer fields. All three of the Complex Partners (Football Club <br />Carolina Alliance, City of Concord, and Cabarrus County Parks) are in <br />agreement with this proposal. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the designation of the Frank <br />Liske Park Soccer Complex as a "youth only complex" until 2012 as requested. <br />of Contract with ADW Architects, Inc. <br />Contracting with ADW Architects, Inc. will provide the County with a <br />facility assessment of seven county buildings and a space needs plan for most <br />departments/functional areas. After the original estimate came in at over <br />$999,000, the scope of work and number of buildings to be reviewed have been <br />reduced and the total fee, including reimbursable expenses is not to exceed <br />$200,000. The study was budgeted in FY 08 at $200,000. Once authorized, the <br />study will take approximately eight months to complete. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the contract between Cabarrus <br />County and ADW Architects PA and authorized the County Manager to execute the <br />contract, subject to review and/or revision by the County Attorney. <br />e Extension R <br />the <br />Services <br />Mr. Billy West, Executive Director, of Daymark Recovery Services has <br />submitted a request for a three month extension in their current lease. If <br />granted, the extended lease will terminate on April 1, 2008. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the lease extension as requested <br />by Daymark Recovery Services and authorized the County Manager to execute the <br />proposed amendment, subject to review and/or revision by the County Attorney. <br />if Service F <br />~1 Resource 0 <br />This Agreement stipulates the terms for the Sheriff to provide School <br />Resource Officers (SROs) to Cabarrus County Schools through 2012. For FY <br />2008, the Sheriff will provide six officers (3 to high schools and 3 to <br />middle schools) and receive reimbursement of $113,519.00 for the three high <br />school SROs. The SROs for the middle schools will be provided as an in-kind <br />contribution. The positions and revenues were budgeted. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Service Agreement between <br />Cabarrus County and Cabarrus County Schools related to the provision of <br />
