<br />(F-5) Matching Grant Agreement with FC Carolina Alliance for Frank Liske
<br />Park Soccer Complex
<br />
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Freeman
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Matching Grant Agreement with
<br />FC Carolina Alliance for the Parks and Recreation Department to complete a
<br />Field Lighting Installation Project at the Frank Liske Park Soccer Complex in
<br />the amount of $61,494.00; and authorized the County Manager to execute the
<br />agreement.

<br />(F-6) Award of Contract Bid Amount to Ike's Construction for Site Work at
<br />the Pharr Mill Road Park Site
<br />
<br />On December 22, 2005, Cabarrus County received bid proposals for the
<br />Pharr Mill Road Park site work construction. The overall low bidder was
<br />Ike's Construction for $586,065.50. Adequate funds are available within the
<br />approved State (PARTF) and Federal (LWCF) grants for Pharr Mill Road Park.
<br />No additional County funds were requested for this contract award. The
<br />Advertisement for Bids was published in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER on November 30
<br />and December 4, 2005.

<br />contract, pending County Attorney's review.

<br />Restrooms/Picnic Building at the Pharr Mill Road Park Site
<br />
<br />On December 20, 2005, Cabarrus County received the following bid
<br />proposals for the restrooms/picnic building at Pharr Mill Road Park. The
<br />overall low bidder was Ike's Construction Company for $158,560.00. Adequate
<br />funds are available within the approved State (PARTF) grant budget. No
<br />additional county funds were requested for this contract agreement.
