The renewal contract amount was in the amount of $195,960.00. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Logan Systems, Inc. contract <br />for the Register of Deeds Office in the amount of $195,960.00 for Fiscal Year <br />2006, a~d authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-3) <br />2006 <br /> <br />Department of Social Services - Good Health Services Contract for FY <br /> <br />Good Health Services provides in-home aide staff and contract nurse for <br />the Community Alternative Program, Personal Care Services, Home and Community <br />Care Block Grant programs through the Department of Social Services. The <br />renewal contract amount was in the amount of $2,603,872.00. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the contract with Good Health <br />Services contract for the Department of Social Services in the amount of <br />$2,603,872.00 for Fiscal Year 2006 and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-4) <br /> <br />Department of Social Services - Community Links Contract for FY 2006 <br /> <br />The Community Links Program of Travelers Aid <br />Carolinas, Inc., conducts court-ordered home studies <br />services of the Department of Social Services. <br /> <br />Society of <br />for child <br /> <br />Central <br />welfare <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Community Links Contract for <br />the Department of Social Services in the amount of $55,000.00 for Fiscal Year <br />2006 and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-5) Department of Social Services - Lutheran Family Services Contract for <br />FY 2006 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Lutheran Family Services <br />contract with the Department of Social Services for the emergency placement <br />of children in foster care in the amount of $209,341.00 for Fiscal Year 2006 <br />and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-6) Department of Social Services - Coltrane Life Center, Inc. I Contract <br />for FY 2006 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the renewal contract for the <br />Department of Social Services with the Coltrane LIFE Center, Inc., for Adult <br />Day Care/Adult Day Health Program services for Fiscal Year 2006 in the amount <br />of $60,706.00 and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-7) <br /> <br />Department of Aging - Coltrane Life Center, Inc., Contract for FY 2006 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the renewal contract for the <br />Department of Aging with the Coltrane LIFE Center, Inc. for Adult Day <br />Care/Adult Day Health services for Fiscal Year 2006 in the amount of <br />$100,000.00, and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-8) Department of Aging - LunchP1us Club (Congregate Nutrition) Contract <br />with Canteen Vending Services <br /> <br />The Department of Aging solicited bids from approximately eight vendors <br />for the food service contract for the LunchPlus Club program. Canteen Vending <br />Services was the only respondent with several vendors declining to bid. The <br />cost per meal is $3.19 which is one cent less than last year's contract. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Canteen Vending Services <br />contract for the Department of Aging (LunchPlus Club) in the amount of <br />$191,400.00 for Fiscal Year 2006, and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the contract. <br /> <br />(F-9) Department of Aging - Budget Amendment (Medicare Part D Transition <br />Grant Funds) <br />
