C. 136 and adopted <br />the following Resolution. <br /> Resolution No. 2002-13 <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE <br /> SHIMPOCK ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> (STATE PROJECT: 6.662431) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to <br />pave SR 1901 (Shimpock Road); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to proceed with the road improvement project, right- <br />of way for 150 feet by 150 feet sight triangle(s) is required at the <br />.intersection of Shimpock Road and N. C. 136; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County owns all property surrounding the intersection <br />and the Department of Transportation has requested that the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners grant the right-of-way required for the sight <br />triangle(s) at the Shimpock Road/N. C. 136 intersection. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners grants the right-of-way for the 150 feet by 150 feet sight <br />triangle(s) at the intersection of SR 1901 (Shimpock Road) and N.
