634 <br /> <br />Transportation to remove Edgefield Road (SR 1190) from the paving <br />list based on the following two reasons: (1) There are other <br />roads that are just as qualified to be paved where there are a <br />majority of residents who would like the road to be paved; and (2) <br />The majority of residents of Edgefield Road appear not to want the <br />road paved. <br /> <br />Consideration of Proposed Classification and Pay Study <br /> <br /> The Board reviewed the proposed Classification and Pay Study prepared by <br />Municipal Advisors Incorporated (MAI) in accordance with the County's <br />Personnel Management Program adopted in 1994. There was lengthy discussion <br />regarding recommended pay plan adjustments, specifically in regards to <br />department head positions. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Mills made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter, to <br />approve the Classification and Pay Study and recommended pay plan adjustments/ <br />changes for County personnel with the exception of all department heads. The <br />motion failed with Commissioners Mills and Carpenter voting for and Chairman <br />Casper and Commissioners Barnhart and Niblock voting against. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Niblock <br />with Commissioners Barnhart and Niblock and Chairman Casper voting for and <br />Commissioners Mills and Carpenter voting against, the Board approved the <br />Classification and Pay Study as submitted.
