He further advised that the <br />project cost will increase due to recent rains and the higher water level of the <br />reservoir. However, Mr. Newton reported a savings of approximately $1.3 million <br />from the prior estimate of $2.1 million for the relocation work. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Niblock and <br />unanimously carried, the Board endorsed the award by Plantation Pipe Line Company <br />of Contract AFE 7193-0002, Pipeline-Open Trench, to Bradford Brothers, Inc. in <br />the amount of $726,973.84 and endorsed the execution of a Contract Change Order <br />to Bradford Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $150,945.00 for the Earthwork portion <br />of the project, bringing the total contract amount to $877,918.84. <br /> <br />Water and Sewer District Meeting <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart recessed the meeting until the conclusion of the meeting <br />of the Water and Sewer District. <br /> <br />Chairman Barnhart reconvened the meeting of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />Project Management Worksession - Chairman Barnhart <br /> <br /> The Board agreed to meet at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, October 23, 1995, to <br />discuss proposed projects and for a quarterly update. The project management <br />notebooks will be updated for Board members prior to that meeting. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments at 7:28 <br />P.M. There was no one present who wished to address the Board, and Chairman <br />Barnhart closed that portion of the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
