Sanitary Facilities, Water Supply, Garbage Collections, Utilities; <br />In every mobile home park, all utility installations shall comply with applicable <br />building and health codes of Cabarrus County and the State of North Carolina, and <br />the requirements of the North Carolina Utilities Commission. <br /> <br />(1) Utilities Installation: Ail utilities shall be installed <br />underground except where adequately documented conditions of <br />topography make this requirement unreasonable. <br />(2) Utilities - Mobile Home Space~ Each mobile home space shall be <br />equipped with water and sanitary sewer connections grouped into a <br />utility core which is designed and installed in accordance with the <br />applicable provisions of the Cabarrus County Building Regulations. <br />(3) Electrical Supply: A minimum of 100 amperes, 120-240 volt <br />single phase electrical supply shall be provided to each mobile home <br />space, terminating in approved mobile home service parcels uniformly <br />installed throughout the park. <br />(4) Mobile Home Equipment: Each mobile home shall be required to <br />connect with the utilities provided at each mobile home space. <br />(5) Water Supply: Each mobile home shall obtain water from a <br />public water supply or state approved community well system. The <br />water supply and pressure shall be adequate for the park <br />requirements. Water for drinking, cooking, laundry and general <br />sanitary uses for each individual mobile home shall be obtained onIy <br />from faucets or other plumbing connections located within each <br />mobile home. <br />(6) Sewage and Disposal: Each mobile home park shall be provided <br />with adequate sewage disposal system, either by public sewer or <br />state approved package treatment system. Ail wastes from toilets, <br />showers, bathtubs, lavatories, wash basins, refrigerator drains, <br />sinks, faucets, and water-using appliances not herein mentioned <br />shall be piped into the mobile home park sewage disposal system. <br />(7) Garbage Disposal: Ail garbage and refuse in each mobile home <br />park shall be stored in suitable water proof and rodent proof <br />receptacles which shall be kept covered with tight fitting lids. <br />Ail garbage and refuse shall be regularly disposed of in a sanitary <br />manner acceptable to the Cabarrus County Health Department. This <br />shall be the responsibility of the park owner(s)~ <br />(8) Each mobile home unit, that requires the use of fuel oil shall <br />have an oil tank, having the minimum capacity of one hundred fifty <br />(150) gallons, set upon a painted prefabricated metal stand or other <br />substantial foundation. <br />(9) Ail mobile homes equipped with wood heating will be required to <br />have all wood and other such materials usable in a wood heater or <br />fireplace to be stacked in an orderly and neat manner to prevent any <br />danger to the health, safety and welfare of other park residents. <br /> <br />E. Information Required on Preliminary and Final Plats: <br />The preliminary and the final plats shall be submitted to the Planning Department <br />showing the following on one or more sheets. Unless otherwise required in the <br />subsection, a scale of not less than one (1) inch equals one hundred (100) feet <br />shall be used. In all cases, the proposed characteristics shall be shown in a <br />manner that shall distinguish them clearly from the existing characteristics of <br />the land. <br /> (1) Location/vicinity map with a scale of one (1) inch equals two <br /> thousand (2000) feet, showing the location of the mobile home park <br /> in relation to the surrounding area within a one (1) mile radius. <br /> The location/vicinity map shall be located in the upper left corner <br /> of the plat. <br /> (2) A "TITLE BLOCK' shall be located in the bottom right hand <br /> corner and contain the following information: <br /> a. Preliminary of final plat. <br /> b. The park's name, township, county and state. <br /> c. Date of preparation. <br /> d. Scale graphically and numerically. <br /> e. The name(s) and address(es) of property owner(s) <br /> and/or developer(s). <br /> f. The name(s) and address(es) of the individual and/or <br /> company preparing the plat. <br /> (3) North Arrow declination. <br /> <br /> <br />
