539 <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartsell reported that Mrs. Joyce Walters had offered $4,000.00 to <br />purchase the house previously owned by her and acquired by Cabarrus County for <br />the Coddle Creek Reservoir project. According to Mr. Hartsell, the average <br />amount received by the County for this size of house has been $6,000.00. After <br />discussion, the Board by consensus declined the offer by Mrs. Walters. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Barnhart, and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board by resolution declared the following items as surplus to the needs of <br />Cabarrus County and further resolved that these stated items be disposed of by <br />public auction on June 5, 1992, at 10:00 A.M. in the County parking lot behind <br />the old Morris buildings.
