The said sanitary <br />sewer lines and location of connection to the County's system was described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer to Serve Stallings Glen, Phase I, Section II, <br />Sewer lines to serve Stallings Glen, Phase I, Section II, being <br />sewer lines located within Phase 2 and Phase 3 boundaries as shown <br />on sheet 1 of 14 of the Sanitary Sewer Plans designed by William <br />Joseph Vanderlip, dated 3une 27, 1988. <br /> <br />This sanitary sewer extension includes 230 feet of 10-inch PVC pipe <br />from existing MH 19 to MH 20 between lots 66 and 67, from MH 19 <br />south in Quail Hollow Drive 1372' of 8" PVC pipe thru MHs 34, 35, <br />36, 37, 38, and 40, and from M}{ 38 east on lot line 365' of 8" PVC <br />to MH 39. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the "Hardware Maintenance Agreement: <br />Parts Only Option" with Business Records Corporation for a period of one year <br />beginning April 1, 1991. Cost for the contract year totalled $4,375.00 or <br />$125.00 per unit for each of the 35 PBD IIID units. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized Chairman Simmons to execute the <br />following Certificates of Substantial Completion for the Social Services <br />Building Addition. <br /> <br />Electrical Contract - Tri-Electric, Inc. <br />Mechanical Contract - Comfort Contracts <br />General Construction Contract - T. K. Browne Construction Co. <br />Plumbing Contract - Kannapolis Service Company <br />Mechanical Contract - G & S Sheet Metal Company <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. James F. Cook, Jr., Social Services Director, reviewed the <br />recommendations of the Department and the Social Services Board concerning <br />Governor Martin's Executive Order No. 142 which contained initiatives to <br />strengthen services for abused and neglected children and to improve the <br />investigation of child deaths in North Carolina due to suspected abuse and <br />neglect. He also discussed the Child Victimization Council which was developed <br />in Cabarrus County in 1987 to network existing child service agencies, to <br />determine the local extent of child victimization, and to promote public <br />awareness of the problem of child victimization. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following recommendations by the <br />Department of Social Services and Social Services Board. <br /> <br /> <br />
