213 <br /> <br />Items accepted for sale will be tagged with an identification code <br />for the participant, the sale price, and a description of the item. <br />An inventory on each participant's items will be maintained by the <br />office. <br /> <br />Persons purchasing items from the Consignment Shop will pay sales <br />tax in addition to the marked ticket price. All sales are final. <br />There will be no exchanges or refunds. The marked ticket price, <br />less the 30% markup, will be forwarded to the participant along with <br />any other sales receipts at the end of the month. <br /> <br />Participants are limited to making changes in their inventories once <br />per month, by the 15th of the month. This involves any additions, <br />exchanges, or deletions. <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Senior Center will endeavor to protect all <br />display items from breakage, theft, or damage, but does not accept <br />any responsibility for stolen, lost, or broken items. <br /> <br />Ail participants will review the guidelines pertaining to the <br />Consignment Shop operation and will sign a statement indicating <br />their understanding of same. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the naming of the multi-purpose room at <br />the Cabarrus County Senior Center "The Cannon Multi-Purpose Room" and the <br />Library/Conference Room "The Barnes Library". <br /> Ms. Angela Ferguson, Director of Aging, reviewed the proposed contract <br />with the Centralina Council of Government for Title III Services for Fiscal Year <br />1991-1992. She commented that the exact amount of funding would be subject to <br />the state grant funds which have not yet been finalized. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Chairman Simmons and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the "Contract for Services Provided for <br />Under Title III of the Older Americans Act and/or Social Services Block Grant <br />Funds and/or North Carolina State Grant Funds" between Cabarrus County (for <br />services provided by the Department of Aging) and the Centralina Council of <br />Governments for Fiscal Year 1991-1992 and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the contract on behalf of Cabarrus County.
