272 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS CONSENT <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of CommiSsioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the amendments to the contracts for <br />Fiscal Year 1991-1992 between the Department of Aging and various agencies as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Department of Social Services - For home management and personal <br />care - Item number one (1) is amended by inserting November 30, 1991 <br />as last date current standards are to be provided. On December 1, <br />1991 DSS agrees to provide services and activities in accordance to <br />the new standards as provided by N.C. Division of Aging. <br /> <br />First Assembly Adult Day Care For institutional respite care <br />services - Item number one (1) is amended by inserting November 30, <br />1991 as the last date current standards are to be provided. On <br />December 1, 1991 the Center agrees to provide services and <br />activities in accordance to the new standards as provided by N.C. <br />Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Item number three (3) is amended by deleting unit purchase of up to <br />576 unit hours with no more than 48 hours per client per month and <br />in inserting in lieu thereof units purchased based on availability <br />of funds. <br /> <br />First Assembly Adult Day Health For institutional respite care <br />services. Item <br />number one (1) is amended by inserting November 30, 1991 as the last <br />date current standards are to be provided. On December 1, 1991 the <br />Center agrees to provide services and activities in accordance to <br />the new standards as provided by N. C. Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Item number three (3) is amended by deleting unit purchase of up to <br />24 days per client per contract year or up to 576 hours per client <br />within stated contract period and in inserting in lieu thereof units <br />purchased based on availability of funds within stated contract <br />period. <br /> <br />LIFE Center - For institutional respite care services. Item number <br />one (1) is amended by inserting November 30, 1991 as the last date <br />current standards are to be provided. On December 1, 1991 the <br />Center agrees to provide services and activities in accordance to <br />the new standards as provided by N. C. Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Item number three (3) is amended by deleting unit purchase of up to <br />576 unit hours with no more than 48 hours per client per month and <br />in inserting in lieu thereof units purchased based on availability <br />of funds. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the annual "Agreement for the <br />Protection, Development and Improvement of Forest Lands in Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina" between Cabarrus County and the North Carolina Department of <br />Environment, Health and Natural Resources and authorized the Chairman to execute <br />the Agreement on behalf of Cabarrus County. The budget for Fiscal Year 1991- <br />92 for forestry work in the county is $83,795.00 of which the State will provide <br />$50,277.00 (60 percent) and the County will provide $33,518.00 (40 percent). <br /> <br /> <br />
